You had the best radio station until you replaced Hannity,Now you have reached the bottom of the barrel ith the POS Ed

Chris-you run a wholesome show, a breath of fresh air adding to a panel of fresh air.  Following Ed Schultz’s radio comments concerning Laura Ingraham, I emailed him to apologize to Ms. Ingraham and then “hang it up”.  Please reconsider Mr. Ed’s placement on your radio station. 

I listened to the station today and couldn’t believe what I heard.   Ed Schultz is going to be on the show FOR 3 HOURS EACH DAY!!!!  What a terrible disappointment.  I find Ed Schultz to be the most arrogant, obnoxious, verbally abusive radio/TV personality that I have ever heard.  Obviously, I will not endure hearing his voice and  cryptic comments.  My opinion of this formerly good station has now changed.  This is a HUGE mistake.

Ed Schulz?  Very, very disappointing decision making going on at AM 1100.  With all due respect to you, Chris, I hope you’ve either had your own meritorious perspectives about the change steamrolled by suppression or need stitches in your tongue for having been biting it really, really hard.  I hope it’s the former.

I switched to the Flag a couple years ago, great radio station until now.

Who ever decided to put Ed Schults on your air waves should be fired.  I for one will be  finding another station and will also show all sponcers how I feel.   This will cost the station alot in the long run.

My wife and I will not be listening to “We the people” nor “The Flag” as of tomorrow. We just can’t stand the vile and arrogant attitude of Ed Schultz. We have listened to him just to get a feel for a liberals point of view. After about 5-10 minutes we cannot take it any longer. He is a angry and vulgar person. He does not listen to a conservative point of view. He wants to bully his agenda and not talk facts. The liberals have finally got a foothold into Fargo. Well, we will listen to Rush and Levin on other channels. Your station got rid of Hannity the same way. Well, enjoy talking to yourself and listening to Ed, we are out of here. It was a great station when Scott was there, but no longer.

Ed is a terrible pick up.  A resonable liberal I could live with.  A blowhard that is now from the east coast – no.  I would guess he has ownership in the station and that is the rub.  Too bad.  We finally had, what I consider, a really good station to listen too.  I will no longer be a listener in the afternoon.

with changes to the station,of the likes of bruce kelly & the afternoon “flop”. its only a matter of time before the flag falls.  that style of bradcasting failed once already, it was called “air america” unlike its title its content was anti-america. the “flops” always fail in this market because people whom listen to radio, want to be informed, want reals facts and opinion. NOT rude childish anticks that are overflowing with hipocrocy. Thats “fm” radio or satilite radio.

what a terrible turn in direction for the flag, from best to worst!

It is interesting how a radio station can go from great to useless in such a short time.  I do not know any of my friends that turn on the Flag anymore.  Once Schultz was hired we turned it off.  There are other ways to find Rush and Hannity.  Schultz does not represent the values of the vast majority of North Dakota and he runs his show based on lies and misrepresentations.  I knew Schultz was for sale to the highest bidder.  I was shocked to see that the Flag was also for sale. 

I have been listening to the flag for several years and I love your show Chris.  You are fair accurate and have christian values.  Who ever made the decision to add Ed Schultz made a huge mistake.  He is nothing but a henchma, blow hardrfodr the left and I will not listen to the station when he is on and am considering not listening at all if he remains which saddens me.  I do not mind listening to an opposing point of view but Ed can only throw stones at consevative ideas to distract that fact that the left has no viable solutions to this nations problems.

I can not believe the decision to install Ed schults  into the flag really dumb move was not ed in trouble for racist comment a few months ago was he not in trouble for throwing a beer bottle at a NDSU game how about shooting his dog bird hunting because he got mad at it how about his argument pushing match at Detroit lakes pub By the bridge how about him making a big deal on the radio about his neighbor installing a fence with out his permission like he owns there land. some one should bring up some tapes of his radio show circa 1983-93 he was a Republican now he is a progressive  AKA socialist

I have always listened to the Flag, but now at 2:oo I turn it off.  I got into my car the other day and it was  after 2:00.  I heard Ed say he was from FARGO.  Whoever talks to him, please tell him to stop telling his national audience he is from here.  It is really an embarassment.  He lives in Detroit Lakes and he’s from Virginia Beach.

I usually have my car radio turned to 1100 so that’s what comes on when I start the car.  If I forget to check the time of day, and I hear obnoxious swearing almost immediately, I realize I have the “Ed” show on.  Quite disgusting and offensive to even hear it for a few seconds, because it appears he assumes people like hearing him swear.  Well, I certainly don’t.

Please, take some time and address the “Mainstreet Tax Fairness Act” and how that help or does anything for the state of North Dakota. On the national level this bill has pitted big box stores, against online retailers. The “big box stores” feel it is unfair that they have to remit sales tax to states and online retailers do not.

While there is a case to be made that many companies should be remitting that sales tax, the obvious reality is that this is a tax hike that will be passed along to CONSUMERS.

Whether they want to call it a tax hike, in the end that is exactly what it is. While this bill would increase North Dakota sales tax receipts, it also makes North Dakota consumers subject to the taxes of other states.

Why should North Dakota’s leaders be supporting a tax hike to fund other states that have mismanaged their own budgets?

North Dakota consumers do not need to be subjected to the taxes of other states, and their representation here in North Dakota should not be supported of such action.

I live in Park Rapids MN. I was in Walmart buying a birthday card for a friend. My friend is a big liberal,(we have many interesting conversations); the check out boy saw the card and said that was sure interesting.(it said that Obama has spent your stimulas package). I asked him if he voted for him. He told me he did, and he had no choice. I told him it is a free country and once you pull the curtain, it’s your choice. His other job is for RDO patato plant in P.R. he said the union there made it clear that Obama is the one to vote for.

 Just heard the last part of the North Dakota Teacher of the Year segment….very good !!  She explained the “teaching for the test” info which caught my attention.  I have a grandaughter  who is teaching 4th grade in Texas.  When most of the children there aren’t fluent in English how can they possibly do well with the “Test”!  There isn’t time enough for those who don’t understand and comprehend English.  I was shocked to hear “Ed Schultz” on the Flag when we came back from Texas!  Whatever happened that he is able to be on “The Flag” and for 3 hours  to make it even worse!!  I also find other stations to listen to for those hours!!!  

Thanks for listening!  Tomorrow I have Moorhead Superintendent joining me to talk more in depth about No Child Left Behind.  47% of MN schools did not make the “grade” and Moorhead schools were in that group.  Something needs to change in our Ed System.  I would be curious to hear what your granddaughter has to say about the Ed System!  Hope you can tune in tomorrow!

Regarding Dalrymple vote, I just do not think he is wired tightly enough to conservative
principles. ND looks great to the rest of the nation but our spending is exceeding Feds. I love the
Legacy Fund because it conserved our capital and is protected by a cap. Any time there is excess
dollars laying around, county,state,federal.. it gets used to buy votes and reward the public sector who are just, in reality, a tax burden, but they are a voting block. Public sector including teachers union and NDPERS are first at the money trough. They are over funded,overpaid,over benefitted, underworked and can do things for which there are no consequences unlike in a real world business.  Put the money in Legacy and send excess taxes back to the people so it does not get squandered and gets put to better use by North Dakotans.
 
Why are we not shining the light on the Occupy bunch. This  is closely aligned with with liberals and
Democrats idea and thoughts. They embrace and are encouraging it and as conservatives can see they are nothing close to the tea party where working people take their precious off time( because they have jobs and responsiblities) for a day or a weekend. Lifting there weary heads to participate in a selflessmovement, no reward but to help the Nation enable itself and get back to the Constitutional ways
and self responsibility. We should be painting the liberals side with the unsightly performance and insurection that may be coming. Some suggestions:
 
Instead of saying Occupy wallstreet when talking about them it should be:

THE REID RIOTS……
THE OBAMA-RAMA..
 
Lets tie the leaders and Democrats to the antics they so encouraged when they thought

So let me see if I got this right. People would be starving because farmers wouldn’t grow crops all because the FEDERAL GOVERMENT stopped funding the “Farm Bill”? So  if you are against the farm bill you are against eating and  farmers?  That is the problem with all these Federal Goverment departments and programs, they start with the assumption that ONLY they (FEDS) are smart enough to run it.

Ken, thanks for the comment, and the USDA has become a mess.  Knowing that 83% of the budget is for nutrition (i.e. SNAP) programs…something is wrong with that.  In my opinion, there needs to be some aspect of insurance for the farmers, and there needs to be more unveiled about how the “FARM PROGRAM” reduces the amount of our disposable income we spend on food.  Thanks for listening, and keep the comments coming!  Have a great day!

I want to confirm something that was just relayed to me. Is your Dad Mike Berg?!
If so ,say hi to him for me. When I was a freshman at NDSU I followed the Dragons and
Mike was the main reason. Right or left handed he could do it all. He lost his shoe in a game once
and did not take time to put it back on, he played a couple of minutes with out it and scored 5-6 points. I got to know him personally at the Y in the early 80′S. Great guy, always in charge. I heard he had some health problems. Hard to believe he could be weakened but time carries on and takes
it out on the body.
 

In regard to Crystal Sugar and the union. Comments that were made by Andy Stern who is very, very close to Obama. His comment “We’ve been working with unions around the world, and what we’re working towards is building a global organization. Because “workers of the world unite”, it’s not just a slogan anymore. It’s the way we’re going to have to do our work.
People of North Dakota have to wake up to what is going on with Crystal Sugar and who is pulling strings!!

I have been somehwat informed on the Buffalo Commons that is being considered.  the Western states already had a 10 million acre land grab by by the federal government.  Also, I found out that there is a court case pending with the Sioux Nation on giving back their land.  Do you remember when Obama was running for President on air he promised the head of the Sioux Nation in S.d. that they would get their land back.  I wonder if that is part of the reason for holding back on the Keystone pipeline.  Of course, the other piece in the puzzle is the environmentalist movement.  I will do some investigative work on my own, and when I get it into place I will forward it to you.  There is also another piece of the puzzle and that is Sustainable Development: Agenda 21.  I believe we have 3 pieces to this decision against Keystone, Return of indian lands to the indians, environmentalists and sustainable development.

I agree.  Hanity is very sincere on his work and I enjoy listening to him.

Chris, I listen to your show whenever possible and appreciate someone with common sense.  Could you tell me why the oil pipeline needs to be built to carry Canadian and ND crude to the gulf?  I wonder why the company wouldn’t just build a refinery near the oil fields with the 7 billion or whatever it costs to build the keystone pipeline?  Or do the oil companies want the oil for export?

I think we need to call Obama on his unconstitutional moves with contraception – Rush had it right on the spot today.  He does not have the authority to tell insurance companies what they have to do.  I plan to call Rep Rick Berg and ask his to do something.  We cannot stand for this.

This contract takes away all workers rights. You become a number like a prisoner. There is a reason why ACSC has and continues to have problems hiring a keeping good help.

The last time I checked, Mount Rushmore was in South Dakota and The Sturgis run (a/k/a Sturgis ® Motorcycle Rally) was also in South Dakota.  If this Berg guy was attempting at all to be intellectually honest he would not have bothered with changing the truth and the argument to fit his agenda.  Mathews got the state where the rep was from wrong.  And really, can you blame Mathews?  The country bumpkin idiots in SD (e.g., Sioux Falls) are no different from your country bumpkin idiots here in ND (e.g., Fargo).  Perhaps it is merely the eastern side of both Dakotas that are the problem.
 
Berg looks like a Mexican who are, of course, some of the most racist the world over which can explain his bigoted and racist bits of his program which his station allows.  I know Asians who are offended by this Mexican idiot but I guess his station is not.  Perhaps Berg needs to stick to his own race (can you say La Raza?) who are some of the most disgusting people on the face of God’s green earth.  Bet Berg spawned children too.  Too bad for Fargo.

On your comments, I have noticed a “dumbing down” of talk TV and Radio.. I see on Fox News and Business News they are doing away with Judge Napolitano who reminds us of our constitutional Rights and someone else….I forgot who it was…I must not listen to him.  This worries me and makes me think someone is coming down on them….This is not good because you have to have a lot of power to come down on Fox News.

I applaud him and support his efforts to keep us informed.  It has to be like working two jobs.

There is another question that no one is asking….why is this Administration  so interested in women’s health when it concerns abortion, contraception, etc….I think I have the answer:  Population Control.  They are trying to control the number of babies being born.  We are already not replacing mom and dad.  I believe that if people really looked into the agenda of this Administration and people “active” in the Democratic Party you would understand what is really going on.  I think that is why they really push the LBG movement because they can’t have babies either…I know this sounds far out, but sit back, take a deep breath and say what other reasons would there be for this obsession with these two issues.  I think dealing with the Debt, the size of government, lowering taxes, etc. are much more important issues.

I do not think it is that crazy at all.  There is someone very close to the Obama admin (I cannot remember his name right now), and he is a proponent of putting sterilization components into our drinking water.  I mean it is a eugenics type movement almost…

there is a good thing about Ed Schultz, now you know how the left thinks.  They all may not be this liberal but these are the programs/positions that they are putting into place.  This is how democrats are voting and this is the position of the administration.  Be thankful that you are in a position to hear the left’s thinking as you now know how much trouble this country is in.  In this administsration there is no such thing as a conservative democrat.  People who vote democrat, whether they like it or not, are voting for this far left liberal positions.  They are voting for Abortion they are voting for many other positions that are radical left.  One cannot vote the party, one has to vote for the people put in place and they have to vet these candidates as many well tell you what you want to hear to get your vote and then put in other programs that are contrary to the positions they put forward to be elected.

If I may go a little further, I am Catholic and my Priest is from Poland and lived there under Hitler.  He says and I am repeating, that the changes that we are going thru now under this administration are very similar to what Poland went thru under Hitler.  Something to think about.  Ed Schultz is a symptom of the problem, the real problem is who we vote for and what programs that they put into place.  Many democrats may say that they don’t agree with this administration but they are getting subsidies and entitlements and they will continue to vote their pocketbook for these reasons.

How do you find Heitkam’s democrat admission that you were referring to?

Actually the reason the Occupy Group went to San Francisco is because that is where

However, what they do show is ” the facts are a terrible in-convienence” that the “non-union” employees, safety & productivity record of 2011 runs circles around “union” employee’s. Bottom line, productivity and safety numbers industry wide, Damn near 2-1. These are the FACTS, and they are undisputed.
 
Sugar beet workers/union members, GO TO WORK!. tell your union “leaders” take a hike!  AND try, if you can, to build your career, reputation, and HONOR, from your OWN MERIT! (credited, and proven record) like, “the rest of the working class,” does!

Demanding you get something for existing, is something my 3yr old does. I expect to take care of   food, shelter, clothing and medical needs of my 3yr old. However, I REFUSE to answer the needs of my 20yr old!  At some point you have to fend for yourself and (EARN) your way.

Why are we spending so much attention on Rush’s comments when we should be asking this women’s college about what they support and why this student is not in class? What kind of a college is this and what kind of student body do they recruit?

I don’t love Ed Schultz, but he makes more sense and is more independent than Hannity, who is just a pretty face, and who has been well-trained at Fox to follow the GOP party line…

Chris Berg is just as partisan, but he couches it in the whole “Christian values” talk that should not be a part of our political discourse.  He doesn’t seem to have much background or knowledge of the issues and how government works.

I whole-heartedly support Chris Berg and all of his work.  Actually, I don’t care for Ed Schultz but this is a free country and just because we don’t agree he should not be prevented from having his program.  I think having him on reminds us of what we are up against.  That is a good thing.

The skilled workers who were laid off found better jobs within weeks, at better pay, at least at the Hillsboro plant – including friends, relatives, and neighbors of mine.  That leaves the sludge that can’t rise to the top but stay employed because of the union … and who keep griping about losing their rights when they know they should be fired and can’t get hired.  What all those folks learned when they searched for new jobs was that the union had under priced their services because they have to accommodate all those other laborers the contract grossly over values.  It’s those over valued folks who still aren’t working. 

If Obumblecare passes muster after this week’s arguments, are the Feds going to dictate diabetes screening and treatment?  If we started training with school dieticians so that morons didn’t consider chicken nuggets more nutritious than a turkey sandwich and fruit we’d have fewer kids confused about nutrition.

Though I am neutral at
this time on Measure 2, the supporters make many valid arguments. Our RINO’s in
the ND Legislature have brought “crony capitalism” to a new level. They have
magnified tax unfairness, not fixed it.

As a citizen of North
Dakota, I believe Attorney General Stenehjem should investigate apparent
violations of North Dakota’s election
laws of Section 16.1 of the North Dakota
Century Code. On November 16th, Governor Jack Dalrymple made false statements
regarding Measure 2, the initiated measure to abolish property taxes. The story
was reported on a Williston TV station on KFYR
News:

Governor Jack Dalrymple
says Measure 2 would force everything managed locally to be wrapped up in a
state program.”I do have concerns about the measure myself. I think
eliminating all property taxes may sound nice at first but really it creates a
lot of problems. There are questions about local control, questions about how
you even manage a situation when you put everything in the hands of a state
legislator” says Governor Jack Dalrymple.Tuttle’s response:”He
hasn`t read the measure then. If you read the measure, it specifically states
that money given to localities, counties and subdivisions have full and total
discretion over the expenditures once they are allocated” says
Tuttle.

Further violations of North Dakota’s
corrupt practices laws were revealed early last December in an article in The Bond Buyer which documented undue hardship caused to North Dakota
citizens in their effort to raise badly needed matching funds for federal
disaster relief programs.

The North Dakota
Industrial Commission, headed by Governor Jack Dalrymple, recommended a
resolution to halt all local
general obligation bond deals conducted through the state. This resolution was
passed based on false
information in order to rally opposition to Measure 2 to abolish property taxes.
General Obligation Bonds can be paid back using any of the 27 other existing
state taxes:

The measure, if passed,
would prohibit political subdivisions from issuing GO [General Obligation]
bonds.

Outstanding property-tax
backed debt, however, would likely be treated as a contract under the state
constitution and continue to be paid, according to attorneys who work for the
Legislature, which has held a series of hearings on the potential fiscal impact
of the measure. That means local units could maintain a sufficient property tax
levy to pay debt service for the life of a unit’s outstanding debt, counsel
said.

Two weeks ago, the North
Dakota Public Finance Authority said it would no longer allow political
subdivisions to issue GO bonds after Dec. 31 until the results of the June
election [on Measure 2] are known.

R20;We see this as the
first domino to fall in Measure 2,” Traynor said of the authority’s
announcement. “We aren’t even close to the election yet, and it’s already
disrupting what we need to do.”

The authority made the
policy decision after the North Dakota Industrial Commission, which oversees
nearly all state agencies, including the Bank of North Dakota, adopted a
resolution Nov. 21 to not accept GO bonds from local political subdivisions
during the “grey period” between Jan. 1 and June 12, 2012, according to DeAnn
Ament, the PFA’s executive director.

The three-member commission
is made up of Gov. Jack Dalrymple, Attorney General Wayne Stenehjam, and
agriculture commissioner Doug Goehring. Ament recommended the resolution to the
commission.

R20;To me, it was good
public practice to make sure we had secure debt,” Ament said. For the finance authority,
the borrowers most affected are the local units that were planning to issue
bonds to finance local matches for federal disaster grants in the wake of this
summer’s devastating floods. Unless they come to market within the month, those
borrowers will have few ways to come up with the money, Ament said. “If they don’t have that
money set aside to be able to pay their local share, those that need to borrow
will be unable to do so,” Ament said. “It’s not clear if GO bonds will be in
existence in North Dakota at the local or county level. I don’t even know what
kind or form of bond we’d come up with.

Governor Dalrymple has issued multiple false statements regarding Measure 2 and
has used state resources to do so. The North Dakota Century Code has provisions
against such actions

Did Ii hear correctly on The Flag this morning, that Obama may be out of office by the 1st of June as no proof of bc.  It is about time and I hope it is true.  The next conversation for this country will be entitlements and subsidies.  Many people who are getting these monies vote democrat whether or not  they are giving away our country.  Also, what is an entitlement/subsidy???  For instance, I do not consider monies paid into our government such as social security an entitlement or subsidy.  Only those monies not paid in like welfare and subsidies.
